KAIRI KI LAUNJI


INGREDIENTS:
  • Raw mango(kairi)- 1,
  • Fennel seeds(saunf)-1/2 tsp,
  • Cumin seeds(jeera)-1/2 tsp,
  • Nigella Seeds(kalonji)-1/2 tsp,
  • Turmeric powder(haldi)-1/4 tsp,
  • Red chili powder(lal mirch)-1/2 tsp,
  • Sugar(chini)-1 tbsp(reduce or increase as per taste),
  • Salt(namak)-as per taste,
  • Coriander powder(dhaniya)1/2 tsp,
  • Oil-1tbsp.


METHOD:
1. Peel and chop raw mango in 1 inch squares.
2. heat oil in pan.
3. Add jeera, kalonji and saunf. Allow them to splutter.
4. Add chopped mango, turmeric powder, red chili powder, salt and coriander powder. And stir for 2 minutes. Add 2 or 3 tsp water and cook till mango become tender.
5. Add sugar and stir well on medium high flame till sugar dissolved.
6. serve with dal and rice or chapati.
